Simon Stevens 5 year forward plan includes some good initiatives, but this one could if not implemented correctly be throwing the baby out with the bath water. Somehow, the NHS has confused Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury and grouped them into one, which clearly they are not. Personal Injury lawyers generate savings for the NHS and improve clinical outcomes for patients, why would you want to stop that?
